>~< Aghh...there's absolutely just not enough time in the day.
I should seriously be reading the next volume of Special A that I have but I haven't had much time to do so. In between studying, video-gaming, napping and reading パパアイラビュー, I've not been able to read it much. Well, I guess I can try to start it tomorrow while I'm on the train.

Anyways, I was reading パパアイラビュー by Mishima Kazuhiko earlier. It's such a sweet story. Although it's a simple BL, stories like that really touch my heart. haha...Plus Akio, which in Japanese is 秋生, is so cute. Love his name too! ^D^
For some reason, I find names that end in 生 or 王 to be very cute. (笑)
And stories that involve young children are so adorable.

Today was Marine Day in Japan, so it was a holiday. Thank goodness. It was nice to get an extra day to relax and chill.
The weekend was good. Tried to save money and not go out so much so stayed home on Sunday.
On Saturday, we met with [info]hinoai for some karaoke time and after met up with [info]_miyuchan_ and Alice. We tried to go to the English pub in Shinjuku by the Keio Plaza Hotel but got lost somewhere along the way. XD
Instead, we ended up going to an isolated Dennys. I ate curry and rice and some chocolate brownie with ice cream dessert. It was pretty good!

Ok, I've gotta finish up some things before bed. Chau!

Fated to Love you 18...
had me ROFLing throughout. Well, at least until the last few minutes. That's when things really get good and we all get left on the cliffhanger of the week. ;________; Waah, can't wait for next episode!

Anyways, I love this episode. It made me laugh so much. My neighbors were probly wondering what's going on. XD

Also, I think Anson was way too calm about being in the bed naked with Cun Xi. LOL
But man I loved when he went to the Chen Family house and he and Xin Yi's sister were flirting with their eyes...and intermittently having some sort of secret conversation just with their EYES. ROFL. That was too funny! Even funnier is when they each explained what they were saying to each other but they both had different interpretations of what was being said. OMG! Love the writing for that scene, too funny!

And the actress who plays Xin Yi's mom, also doubling as the role of the Mamasan at the host club was just awesome hilarious. haha. Cun Xi kept trying to touch her mole. XD

I am seriously going to miss this show when it ends. I think there are only 4 more episodes left. It'll be so sad when it ends. :( This drama's such a blast!

And finally!!! Cun Xi knows!!! ...Now go tell Xin Yi what really happened!

p^0^9 Jia yo Cun Xi! Jia yo!

This chapter of Special A has gotta be one of my favorites. It's so cute when Hikari realizes that she's the only one in the group who still calls Kei by his last name only. And due to their "rivalry", she refused to refer to him by his first name since they were little. x3

So she realizes that she always refers to him as simply Takishima and seeing that everyone else calls him Kei, Hikari decides she'll do it too. But despite all her efforts, she just can't seem to blurt out his name...at least not properly. Just when she thinks she's got the hang of saying it...she ends up saying some other "Ke" word like "Kero." LOL. Which makes for an amusing read and even sweeter scene once Takishima realizes what she's been trying to say all this while. I love how he got her to say his name without her even noticing it. And when she did notice it...ahhhh, so sweet!! >D<

I really love this manga. So, I'm nearly finished with volume 7 and will probly get to volume 8 tomorrow. Only a few more pages to go...as I was reading it on the train earlier. I also love that in this volume Tadashi and Akira start dating. Akira's confession to him was really awesome. It was nice to see her finally let out her true feelings for him.
Plus serious Tadashi is so damn HOTT!!!

Also, OMG!!! Yahiro and Megumi dating!! Waaahhh!??! I totally didn't see that coming. Despite Yahiro's really sadistic ways, he's really a nice guy and I've always loved him. haha...so I'm really glad that he'll be able to find happiness. Plus ZOMG!?!? MEGUMI friggin' talked! That doesn't happen everyday. So rare! So you know, Yahiro has quite an impact on her.

And so marks my return to Korean period drama...

Iljimae

Once upon a time, in the Joseon Dynasty, there lived a young boy born to a noble family. His name was Geom. This young boy was kind-hearted and quite intelligent. Just from looking at him, you could tell he was destined for greatness. Despite his elite status, he lived a respectable and humble life. Geom's father, Lee Won Ho was a well-known nobleman, schloar, poet...whatever, in his own right. He was also quite close to the king----a relationship that would end in betrayal. Geom and his father were quite close, as well. And Geom lived a very happy, priveledged perfect life with his mom, dad, and older sister. That is until one fateful day, when his dream life was shattered and his whole world came crumbling down before him. In just an instant, he went from utter riches to pure poverty.

Unfortunately, the king has it in for Geom's dad and has him killed. Luckily for Geom, his father locks him up in a wardrobe closet just before the men come in to kill him. However, Geom still witnesses his father's death and becomes traumatized. He is luckily saved by kind-hearted theif who eventually takes him in and treats him as if he were his own son. Seeing the trauma the boy has been through, the kind soul decides it is better for Geom to forget his previous life. Geom eventually forgets his past and grows up believing that the theif and his wife are his real parents. The thief gives Geom a new name, Yong, and a new life for Geom is born.

Years later, we see how Geom has changed. He has become the total oppsossite of what he was. He hates going to school, goofs around all day, and is always getting into trouble. In short, he's a mischiefmaker for his poor parents. Not a sign of his nobility anywhere to be seen within his current personality. xD In fact, he gets bulllied by the nobles when he tries to go to school with them...well he's pretty much forced to at his father's urging. //sigh// If only they knew who he really was...well...maybe not because then he'd get killed. Ahhhh...well, it's complicated. hehe. ^^;;;

In anycase, various people come to kill Yong because they suspect him of being the long lost son of Lee Won Ho. There are many who are skeptical about whether the young boy that was thought to be Geom and killed earlier was the real Geom. So, many suspect Yong is he, However, he has no idea what they're going on about and why all these ppl think he's Geom. So sadly, Yong has to put up with several punishments and attempted captures, etc time and time again.
Such a pitiful guy he is really. Anyhow, in the process of all this Yong's memories begin to come back to him. He again remembers who he is and where he came from. He returns back to the home of his childhood but angry at himself that he allowed himself to forget despite promising that he would never forget. And so begins his quest to find his mother and sister and to avenge his father's death. And soon after this, begins the story of Iljimae

Illjimae seems to be my new k-drama fix. The beginning where Lee Jun Ki is seen as Iljimae is kind of cheesy but once the story got the children's storyline...now that's when it got to be really good. Man, the kid actors in this drama are soo good. I adore Shi Hoo/Ja Dol! Both child and adult version of him. haha. He's so kind and nice. And he looks really good with Eun Chae.

Alot of things within it, remind me of Hong Gil Dong. Although, I may like HGD better, but we'll see. I like alot of the connections between the characters in Iljimae. I mean to think how Ja Dol is actually Geom's half-brother. That's really something I'm looking forward to in seeing the two of them discovering this. Especially now, that Yong practically hates him. There are just alot of tragic things within that relationship.
I can't wait to see what happens in episode 11. Things are really getting good.

I'm actually quite torn between the relationship between these two. It's kind of hard to believe that both Bong Soon and Eun Chae fell in love with Geom after only meeting him once (well maybe twice for Bong Soon) when they were children. I mean sure you might like him when your a kid but isn't their a point when you grow up and you realize that it was a childhood crush. I mean you were just kids for goodness sake how the heck could you be in love already? haha So in that sense, the whole childhood love thing kind of is a bit far-fetched. And I don't usually say such things since I'm such a romantic at heart. X3

But yeah, I'm torn between rooting for Geom/Eunchae and Shi Hoo/Eunchae. I mean at least let BongSoon be with the one that's leftover, right? haha

At this point though, Eunchae seems to hate Geom. It seems like she'll be more in love with Iljimae, himself.

Well, at least, Lee Jun Ki continues looking hott! lol

Damn you, Ji Cun Xi...you really know how to make a girl's heart melt!
OMG, he was soo absolutely cute in this episode. I really loved it.
And finally, Xin Yi can see Cun Xi's good intentions. I really can't wait to find out the truth behind those documents. Ana should've just confessed to both of them about what really happened. She's the one who ruined both their lives. Grrr... >[

And man, I can't believe they're implying that Ana could be Dylan's long lost sister. WTFnHzorrrs?!!??! Where the heck did that come from!? It totally threw me for a loop. In any case, I think that little storyline is completely unnecessary and only distracts from the main plot. At this point, I could care less who Dylan's sister is. So long as it's not Chen Xin Yi, who cares? LOL. x3

Catching up!
Just caught up to Junjou Romantica 10 and Itazura na Kiss 10. Still have two more eps of Special A to watch. But yeah, slowly but surely I'm catching up on my anime.

Junjou Romantica is total love, of course. Always leaves me gushing.
I actually cried at ItaKiss with Non-chan and Yuuki. Also love seeing Naoki showing his feelings more. As for Special A, Shimono Hiro is just being too cute with his previews as puppet Tadashi. Haha, makes me wanna just squeeze his little cheeks. Also, feel bad poor Kei-kun. Hikari is seriously torturing you man. x3

Also doing my best with manga. Currently reading Secret Diplomacy of the Minster Excellency volume 2. I'm also still in the middle of catching up to Uwasa no Midorikun and Special A. I've just been so distracted with drawing and gaming. Especially gaming. Didn't even get to play RO much today which sucks cause this week is 2XP week. x3 I don't think I'll have time to fully take advantage of it.

Not to mention I still gotta study. Ugh...there's just not enough time in the day. Hope tomorrow will be an easy day at work.

I at least managed to somewhat clean up my room yesterday. Still have more to clean but I'll do it gradually throughout the week.

Xin Yi in Shanghai
It was a rather nice and relaxing day I had today. Although I had so much stuff to do, I didn't know what to start on first.
I did however manage to watch Fated to Love You 13. SO DARN GOOD!!

I do really wish that the writers hadn't killed off the baby. I had grown so attatched to Ji Nian Pin dammit. How could they do this to meeeee.~ I could really feel Xin Yi and Cun Xi's pain after all that drama. 'Cuz I was feeling it too. Way to throw a curve ball at us writers!

Anyway, I loved the story like feel they gave to the advance in storyline in ep 13. It kind of makes the drama more moving that way and almost like I'm actually reading a real novel. It's gonna take a while to get used to Xin Yi's new hairstyle tho. Urghh...can't blv I have to wait until next ep to see those two meet up again.

And a meme, as seen on [info]_miyuchan_ 's lj.

Tough day but making it through
Woke up today feeling nauseous. Realized later that it was a case of the runs. >0<
I reckon it was the Thai chicken rice I had at Jonathan's the other day. Either that or the tap water.....U~U I don't knowz.

So couldn't go to church today because of that and just rested until the late afternoon. We went to meet friends in Ikebukuro around 5. And ate at this new Korean restaurant in Sunshine City. It's really great. Especially for those Korean drama fans, because it's set up to look like a giant stall on the streets of Korea. Next time I stop by there, I'll try to take a picture. It's a really cool theme afterall.

Of course, they had the usual Winter Sonata playing in the background. Man, no wonder Japanese people have such a narrow view of kdrama. >D<
Not that I don't love Winter Sonata, it's just that they overplay it over here.
Reminded me of Who are you? when they were talking about how crazy Japanese people are about Yon-sama. haha XD

Anyway, I wanted to have bibimba and kimchi chige ramen but I couldn't eat the ramen all by myself. And my sister didn't wanna split it unless it was the udon version. >~<
So I sufficed with having just ishiyaki bibimba. It was good but not really spicy enough. I kept adding the chili paste to it to make it hotter but it still wasn't hot enough. XD

There's actually a nice place in Meguro named Chegoya that is a lot more authentic than this place. This one just seemed more catered to Japanese people's taste. But it's still a good place to go. Next time, I defnitely wanna try their kimchi chige.

After dinner, we went to the bookstore and I bought Uwasa no Midori-kun 4&5 and Mayonaka no Ariadone 1 . I'm almost finished with Mayonaka no Ariadone so will begin Uwasa no Midori-kun tomorrow. I know there are at least 3 more volumes out so I'm looking forward to catching. ^D^ Go Midori, Kazuma and Tsukasa!!

Igiari! and Cun Xi, I don't know what to say about you!
IGIARI!!!
haha, I love that word!
I've been playing Gyakuten Saiban whenever I have free time alot lately. And just finished the Turnabout Sisters storyline moving on to the Steel Samurai storyline now. Man, it's too much fun.
I thoroughly enjoyed bringing Mr. White and his flamboyantness to justice. He was a really rather amusing character, afterall.

FTLY OST: I Love Him 99 Times --I didn't really think much of this song when I first heard it during the first episode. But it's really grown on me and is pretty catchy. I love it now! It's rather cute, too.

Fated to Love You 11
And I continue loving this drama.
Crap! I thought that part of the reason why Cun Xi floundered in going back home when his grandmother stormed in and demanded he do so the last episode, was because he just didn't really like the idea of his grandma telling him what to do and of course, he had thought Xin Yi had betrayed him. It seemed like his intention was to go back once he made sure Anna was healed enough or more mentally prepared anyway.

But now, what this with him saying he'll complete his agreement with Xin Yi and be there with her until the baby's born. Then, he'll go right back to Anna?!?! WTH!??! What's the purpose of that? Why go back if he's gonna end up leaving Xin Yi again anyway!? Dude, wake up!!

I mean I can understand his stuck position. She did pretty much get fired because of him and she was only trying to live out her dream. (>o<) Unfortunately for Anna, she chose a bad time to leave him by himself.

Now, it seems he's just confused. Of course, I don't know why he's confused. The obvious choice would be to choose to go back to Xin Yi and Ji Nian Pin. xD

Poor Xin Yi, too! I can't believe she made that baby book and put Anna's name on it. You're Ji Nian Pin's mother Xin Yi, not Anna.

I love how he kept asking </b>Anson</b> about Xin Yi. And I don't know how many times I can say that I love Anson. He is just too funny and cute and too bullied around by his boss. I love that he's grown a sort of affection toward Xin Yi now. Also, love Anson and Grandma teaming up to bring Cun Xi and Xin Yi back together.

OMG, Cun Xi's duck scene with Anson was way too cute too!!LOL.
He was so enthusiastic about explaining what the duck does to Anson. Too hilarious! Does he realize he's cute he's being?? ROFL. Probly not.

Not to mention, Cun Xi getting all flustered about what to say to Xin Yi when he ran into her in the house was just too cute. haha He's fallen and doesn't even know it. kekekeke...>D<

Oh and so far, I don't hate Anna. She's only human afterall. And I don't feel like she really did anything wrong. Well, except the numerous times she stood Cun Xi up. But other than that she's pretty much in love with him and stuff. It's just she's not meant for him.

Can't believe I gotta wait another week for the next episode. Ugh...gonna hafta fill in the time with distractions until then.

And was just feeling all around sick the whole day...even felt nauseated on the train.

Aaj Hum Bahut Kush Hai!! 누구세요? drama ♥
Ugh...withdrawl!
Withdraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawl, I say!!~~~

Well, this past week I've been glued to a certain Korean drama. I've been finishing up watching Hong Gil Dong and therefore wanted to start another drama. It just so happened I came across 누구세요?/Who are you?. I know I'm a little late in watching it, but hey at least I could watch the whole thing at one time.

What really caught my eye about this drama was Yoon Kye Sang being in the cast. This was the first drama I've seen him in since he left for the army. I'm really glad he's back 'cause I missed him. ^-^
The last drama I saw him in was 형수님은 열아홉/My Sister-In-Law is 19. I know I was impressed with his acting in that drama...as evidenced in this post from back then. But he really, REALLY WOWed me here in Who are you?.

Who are you? stars Yoon Kye Sang, Kang Nam Gil, and Go Ara. Kye Sang plays tough and strict business representative Cha Seung Hyo. Seung Hyo is hardworking and rich but when he deals with business matters--he mainly only cares about making money. He doesn't lets anyone in his life, doesn't allow anyone to get close to him. His tough shell is a product of having to grow up as an orphan and survive in a world of adversity. Seung Hyo also struggles with OCD. He doesn't even dare to step on the floor of his own house without his socks and slippers on.( ̄◇ ̄;)
(Although I find his OCD rather enduring. hehe)

Seung Hyo, unfortunately due to his impatient and stern character, ends up getting into a car accident and facing life in a coma.

Kang Nam Gil is Son Il Gun. Il Gun is the complete opposite of Cha Seung Hyo He is happy-go-lucky with an extremely positive outlook on life. But most importantly, he is a proud father. His life is dedicated day and night to his daughter, Son Young In (Go Ara). He teaches his daughter the phrase "Aaj hum bahut kush hai!" to start off her day ( Loved that they used Hindi!) Il Gun works as a "Quick Delivery Man". Sadly, he ends up dying in a motorcycle accident. It is he that will change Seung Hyo's life forever.

After the accident, Il Gun becomes a ghost and for 3 hours a day takes over Cha Seung Hyo's body. His main goal is to spend more time with his daughter and do the things he didn't get to do with her before dying. For this reason, Il Gun brings Seung Hyo and Young In together. And love develops between the two.

Only Seung Hyo can see the ghost...which leads to many funny incidents in which Seung Hyo ends up appearing as if he is talking to himself. ^0^ Also, because the two are such opposites...seeing Cha Seung Hyo dancing and smiling so happily adds to the crazyness of the situation and of course hilarious moments.

Also, with Young In's dad sharing bodies with Seung Hyo. OMG, so hilarious! Especially, when SH would treat her like a daughter. And when Young In kissed Seung Hyo in the lips not knowing her father was using his body at that moment. So, the expression on Seung Hyo's face was like it was so disgusting. Control yourself girl! LOL.

누구세요? )

Loved this moment at the end, where Seung Hyo reflects on his moments living with a ghost, Il Gun. And promising to take care of Young In and cherish her for all his life.

I really liked the finale. I think it's actually one of the best and most satisfying that I've seen in a kdrama. I didn't feel it was rushed and just about everything was pretty much resolved.

It's one of those endings that make you feel like you're really gonna miss the characters. As if there's something missing....ahhhh~~withdrawl.
I knew it had to end but didn't want it to. Really miss Seung Hyo. xD

And I will go and rave about Kye Sang a little more. He was soooo, sooo cute here. He still looks so young with his cute babyface, too. He really proved his acting skills in this drama since he was playing two polar opposite chars. I was so impressed. Love Him!

Oh well, I may start on Crazy For You or On-Air next. I also really wanna see 6 Years in Love with Kye Sang and Kim Ha Neul. It looks really cute!♥♥

Fated to Love You 8
Just finished watching ep 8. It's such a cute and hilarious episode. I loved the part where Xin Yi dressed up as a chicken. It's really true. This drama tells a touching story through comedy which is one of the reasons why it's so much fun to watch. X3 I also liked that Dylan made an appearance in this episode. Also, loved when Anson fell into the water. And how he was saying to Cun Xi not to criticize him for the clothes he was wearing (aka his robe and pjs x3) since he had woken up in the middle of the night to help him with his so-called "emergency". LOL.

Oh and can you really beat having the same birthday as the person you love? xD Talk about fate!

I really hope that Cun Xi will also realize that the pen was bought by Xin Yi.
I can't wait for the next episode. It looks like things will get even more interesting with Anna around. I kind of feel bad for her. Not only does she seem to be losing her role as Odette in Swan Lake but she also seems to be losing her boyfriend. Little by little, day by day...he is falling for Xin Yi. \-^D^9
